I want to start out by saying how much we appreciate each and every one of you, you dedication, your words, your passion, and everything you've put into the community here. Unfortunately, the bell has tolled for our dear Canis. There are many factors and reasons that have gone into this decision, and I apologize if it feels sudden. The site will remain up for as long as necessary for players to retreive their information and posts.

If you have questions, you are more than welcome to reach out to me via DM.

Thank you for everything. ❤️

The World Elk

Rumors suggest the world was made from the body of a great being.

There are few who see elk as holy and even fewer who may deem them gods. With their mention amongst a handful of cultures, the question begs, do any hold truth? Discrepancies between the tales have left most skeptical, though to those who insist and preach the loudest, elk-kind roots deeper to the earth's core than any predator's. Most wolves laugh at the notion of prey ruling above all, but who's not to say a wolf is simply allowed to live in the elk's world?

He With a Thousand Horns, a being so mighty he is said to have blessed the world as we know it with life and creation. Since the tale's origin, there have been no confirmed sightings of the being aside from divine interpretation or dream-level intervention. With His supposed absence, descriptions of the being have varied with time, and those who believe continue to look for His signs. Stemming from remaining descriptions, followers deemed elk as His personal apostles as they are the only ones to so closely match His description.

Through years of observation and guidance, followers soon believed they understood the elk and the world surrounding. Signs of His presence were all-encompassing and easily spotted if one looked close enough. He With a Thousand Horns had never left, in fact, He was always watching and providing for His creations. The soil from which they walked was His, an outer layer akin to skin from where His hair sprouts feeding fields of gold and green. Great hills form the curve of His back and the forests that shelter are the long stretching points of His antlers.

All life was connected through Him. He had not only made the world, He was the world. And thus through understanding, disciples adopted a new name more fitting.

The World Elk.
